Product description

Natural beeswax with a light yellow color and a characteristic, delicate scent. It is a hard and versatile raw material intended for the production of container candles, pillar candles, wax melts and scented sachets, as well as for cosmetic applications. It can be used alone or as an additive to modify the properties of other waxes. In soy candles, it helps to increase the hardness of the mixture, while combining it with coconut wax allows for a softer consistency. The product comes in the form of small pastilles, which facilitate measuring and melting.

Purpose: container candles, pillar candles cast from molds, scented sachets, cosmetic formulations and other wax products.

  • the color of the wax and the type of comminution may differ slightly depending on the batch.

Recommendations for working with wax:
Recommended heating temperature: 75-85°C.
Recommended pouring temperature: approximately 75°C.
Do not heat above: 85°C.
Recommended fragrance dosage: 6-8%.

Do not overheat the wax or keep it at high temperatures for too long. Heating above 85°C may cause fading of the natural color, change in scent, or deterioration of the raw material's properties. 

Additional tips:

  • Before pouring, it is recommended to preheat the clean and dry mold to a temperature of approximately 50-60°C, which will allow for better wax distribution.
  • Beeswax is significantly harder than many other natural waxes, so it usually requires a larger wick. The choice should be adapted to the candle diameter, type of container or mold, and the amount of additives.
  • For beeswax candles, wicks with a paper core, e.g., type V or Z, are recommended. Each variant requires a burn test.
  • Some fragrance compositions may cause candle sweating, uneven surface finish, or deterioration of flame quality. The wax also has its own scent, which may affect the perception of the added composition.
  • The given temperatures are recommendations and may need to be adjusted to the mold, container, dye, fragrance, wick, and cooling conditions.
  • Each combination of wax, fragrance composition, dye, wick, and mold or container should be thoroughly tested before starting larger production.

Storage: The wax should be stored in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry, and odor-free place, away from moisture, direct sunlight, and heat sources. It should be protected from intense odors, which may be partially absorbed by the raw material.
